We have decided to live in a Park Home as our old house had a lovely garden but the work to keep it in top condition meant an investment in time, which stopped us getting around in our Motorhome.
The site we live on is a new developement. in the quaintly named village Ecclefechan.
We spent a long time looking for a site and the overiding concern was an owner without very restrictive rules. We found the present owners to be very helpful and flexible.

From the erection and joining of the two halves to constructing the rockery was an exciting time, but tempered by the falling house market and the noticable absence of prospective buyers.
In September we eventually had a buyer which wanted to move in three weeks.
On 25 September we completed (or what ever they call it in Scotland) and moved in.
We do like it and living on a camp site is like being on a continious holiday, but i guess that will wear off.
